Carolyn Palmer, a Senior Advisor in the Cabinet Office Communications, Deputy Minister’s Office of the Government of Ontario. As a dedicated bilingual public servant, Carolyn has had the opportunity to work on high-profile government initiatives, and in her previous role as a Senior Policy Advisor, she worked on the price escalations consultations, proposing new changes to protect consumers in the new homes sector. She is also the current Director of Communications of FrancoNoir.e, a government network that supports Black Francophone initiatives and the winner of Apolitical’s 2022 Global Public Service Team of the Year Award and the 2023 Ontario Public Service (OPS) Amethyst Award, which recognizes the outstanding professional achievements and contributions of groups who demonstrate the OPS values. Carolyn believes in the power of people and seeks opportunities to support the betterment of those around her.
Miriam Mukasa, a consultant specialising in Emotional Intelligence (EQ, Cultural Intelligence (CQ), and the emerging field of Inclusive AI. Miriam advises C-Level executives on building inclusive, innovative, and multicultural teams and organisations. She has worked with leaders from Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and DAX 30 companies as well as founders of fast-growing start-ups who have raised over US$ 250m. Miriam’s global experience includes working & advising C-Level & other leaders from countries including the USA, UK, Germany, Austria, South Africa, Kenya, and more, and believes the key to building and nurturing inclusive organisations, teams & culture lies in leadership rooted in EQ.
Deeksha Sharma, Ph.D, is a 4 time TEDx speaker and the founder of Enso Life- Neuro Art. She was also a postdoc at Cornell University USA, with a PhD in Emotional Intelligence. She has more than 8 years of experience of counseling and mentoring students, employees and founders. She has worked on EI, adaptive intelligence and cultural intelligence at Cornell. She built a new Emotional Intelligence model by collecting data from various countries including the USA, Australia, Canada, Israel, Dubai, and India. She is the author of a book chapter on SPRINGER Nature on emotional intelligence at work. She is has many papers in sage and springer on EI. She was part of WE Cornell, an entrepreneurial organisation at Cornell.She was selected in Cornell GradSWE, postdoc leadership program and engaged faculty fellow for counseling and mentoring at Cornell University.
