Speakers
Policy professionals often spend weeks analysing evidence, comparing approaches and synthesising findings before they can reach a clear recommendation. At the same time, pressure is growing to use AI to work faster, yet many current AI tools are not designed for the standards policy research requires. In fact, 80% of policy professionals say concerns about mistakes deter them from using AI more. For policy teams, speed only creates value when the research remains rigorous and trustworthy.
That's why Apolitical has released PolicyNova, a new AI research tool purpose-built for policy professionals.
It scans jurisdictions across the world to pull together evidence from trusted, verifiable sources, turning it into visual, conclusion-first formats designed for senior audiences who skim rather than read.
Watch PolicyNova tackle a live comparative research query, then hear our speakers explore the risks and opportunities of AI in policy work.
Who should join:
Policy advisors, regulators and researchers who want to use AI in their work without compromising research rigour or ceding control.
How PolicyNova helps increase your research scope
PolicyNova is a tool designed specifically for the repetitive but important work of comparative policy research. It enhances comparative evidence reviews and jurisdictional scans, drawing on a far wider body of evidence than one person could reach alone. Its outputs are designed to be fully traceable, so checking them is quick and easy, and it ensures judgement and control remains with the policy experts.
It draws on trusted, traceable sources including published academic research, governmental, legislative and regulatory documents, with users able to select only those that are relevant to their specific need. Tell it what you want to understand, choose the jurisdictions to compare, and it pulls from those sources, builds a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction comparison, and returns a cited analysis you can act on.
It turns this evidence into easily-scannable documents that policy teams need to communicate options and trade-offs, including comparison tables and briefing notes of varying lengths, from a conversation starter to a full synthesis.
This event will take place on Zoom. Joining instructions will be displayed once you register. The event will be recorded and the recording will be sent to all registrants. The recording will also be made available on Apolitical's platform for other members of our community to enjoy. We may also generate insights about our community members by uploading the recording to HeyMarvin, an AI-powered qualitative research tool. If you would prefer not to join the call live, you may view the recording on the platform after the event.
