“Public sector innovation today requires imagination backed by courage. The Edge 50 captures 50 examples of governments and collaborators pushing past conventional assumptions to explore what is newly possible. In partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, Apolitical is proud to elevate this global snapshot of ideas that could reshape how governments serve their societies.”
Robyn Scott, co-founder and CEO of Apolitical
Governments worldwide are tackling increasingly complex challenges — and people working in and around government are driving cutting-edge – often under-the-radar – innovations that are reshaping what’s possible.
The Edge of Government hub elevates these initiatives to a global community. Created by Apolitical in partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, the home of the Edge of Government Awards, the hub spotlights the sometimes counter-intuitive projects and people with the potential to transform conventional government logic.
On 21 January, Apolitical and MBRCGI kicked off the Hub with a global online event exploring cutting-edge public sector projects transforming what’s possible. Missed it? Watch the recording now.
