Do you ever find yourself staring at a blank job application, unsure how best to describe your experience — or overthinking every sentence of a cover letter?
AI Skills Lab is a new monthly series of virtual, 30-minute events, brought to you as part of the Government AI Campus. Think of them as your shortcut to working smarter, one task at a time — with tips and hacks from public servants already using AI regularly to augment their work.
While AI is increasingly used on both sides of the hiring process, this session is all about making it work for you — helping you write more tailored CVs, communicate your skills with greater clarity and prepare for interviews more effectively. You’ll explore practical ways generative AI can help you reflect on your experience, strengthen your written responses and practise answering interview questions — while staying authentic and focused on what you want next in your career.
The event will feature an expert who will walk through various ways AI can make your job application process more efficient, offering prompts you can adapt and use straight away.
