Join the Life in Government Community
The Life in Government Community is a collaborative space designed for Apolitical members to connect with peers in the global public service and ask and answer questions on life in government.
Event Description
Are you tired of meetings that should have just been emails? Do you want to make every discussion more focused and productive?
In the public sector, effective meetings can lead to clearer guidance on decisions, faster alignment across teams and more time for deep work. From policymaking to programme delivery, civil servants spend less time circling problems and more time delivering solutions when meeting time is structured and purposeful.
At this event, you’ll hear public servants and experts share how to cut down time spent in unproductive catch-ups while boosting collaboration and follow-through. Whether you're chairing complex multi-agency discussions or contributing to a regular team check-in, you’ll leave with new ways to make your meetings more efficient, productive and outcomes-focused.
