Ashley Good, Founder of Fail Forward, the world’s first failure consultancy, supports people and organisations to acknowledge, create and evolve from failure. A winner of the Harvard Business Review/McKinsey Innovating Innovation Challenge, Fail Forward helps businesses, governments, and non-profits harness their failures to learn, innovate and build resilience. Before launching Fail Forward, Ashley worked in Cairo with the United Nations Environment Programme and as a management consultant in Vancouver.
Catherine Hutchinson, Head of the joint HM Treasury and Cabinet Office's Evaluation Task Force, has a wealth of experience both of evaluation and of leading improvement and change, gained in a range of senior roles. Catherine is also currently the Chief Social Researcher in the Cabinet Office, Number 10 and HM Treasury.
Maria Jose (Majo) Acosta, Senior Associate, Government Innovation Team at the Centre for Public Impact. She has a background in human centered design, city innovation, and health equity. During Majo's time at CPI, she has been a part of several programs across the government innovation and climate action portfolios. She was a curriculum designer and workshop facilitator for CPI's inaugural Fail Forward program, which focused on helping county governments across the US develop cultures of innovation that embrace responsible experimentation and continuous learning. She was also the chief storyteller and supporting consultant for 7 cities across the world as they used Bloomberg Philanthropies’ “Path to Innovation” to design creative solutions for pressing urban challenges like equitable flood preparedness in coastal cities and loss of community connectedness in growing urban centers. Currently, Majo is helping to design and implement a systems innovation program that supports a large US county's transit department as they transition to a net zero emissions fleet.
