Join the Systems Thinking in Government Community
The Systems Thinking in Government Community is a space for conversations, insights, ideas and resources on the application of systems thinking in government from your peers across the global public service. This community is open to all Apolitical members.
Event Description
Siloed working is one of the biggest blockers to progress in government. When teams or departments operate in isolation, it becomes harder to tackle complex problems, deliver coherent services or respond to emerging challenges. Public servants feel the effects daily: duplicated work, misaligned goals and slow decision-making.
Systems thinking helps you step back, spot patterns and see how different parts of your organisation connect—or don’t. Portfolio approaches build on that by turning insight into action through a coordinated set of interventions. At this panel event, we’ll explore how combining these approaches can help public servants break siloes and respond more effectively to complex challenges.
Our experienced systems thinkers and fellow public servants will share tools to help you improve collaboration, strengthen services and work more effectively across boundaries.
