Join the Life in Government Community
The Life in Government Community is a a collaborative space designed for Apolitical members to connect with peers in the global public service and ask and answer questions on life in government.
Event Description
The fear of speaking up can silence vital messages and groundbreaking ideas. Whether in a meeting, on a panel or delivering a presentation, the ability to speak with clarity and confidence is essential—not just for personal growth, but for the public good.
Public speaking is a performance-enhancing skill as well as a leadership tool. In government, where influence often depends on how ideas are communicated, strong speaking skills can shape policy, build trust and open doors.
In this masterclass, you’ll hear from experienced public sector communicators who will share practical techniques to help you prepare, stay calm and connect with your audience—whether you’re speaking in person, online or in a hybrid setting.
