• Ulrik B.U. Roehl, PhD Fellow at the Centre of Organization, Management and Administration (COMA), Department of Society and Politics at Aalborg University in Denmark. In his research, he focuses on the relation between digital government and good administration. He previously worked within local and central government, and was recently a visiting scholar at the Public Governance Institute at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium.

Paul has worked in local government for more than 20 years’, with more than a decade as a senior public sector manager and leader. Paul has extensive experience of strategic planning, policy development and leadership development. Over the years, Paul has worked alongside many local government Chief Executives as well as politicians, including at Ministerial level.

• Stacey Hare, Program Manager, Customer Service and Experience, City of Guelph. Stacey Hare has worked at the City of Guelph for almost 14 years. Her mission is to make it easier for people to engage with their local government. Her superpower is translating complex government jargon into clear, simple language, so people can find, understand and use City programs and services. She’s written reports, speaking notes, presentations for municipal leaders, as well as websites, promotional material, memos, reports and speaking notes – you name it, she’s written it. Building on her background in marketing and communications, she’s also developed skills in human-centred design, continuous improvement, digital transformation and digital government services.
