• Alex Nicholson, Head of International Nuclear Safety, International Civil Nuclear. Alex focuses on international nuclear safety at the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. He represents the UK at international fora including the International Atomic Energy Agency and was Chair of the G7 Nuclear Safety and Security Group under the UK’s Presidency. Previously he was Head of Multilateral Strategy at the UK’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and was a Vice-Chair at the OECD’s Committee on Digital Economy Policy. He enjoys diving, hiking and is passionate about developing and implementing internationally facing strategies.
