Hilary Sutcliffe, Director of London-based not-for-profit SocietyInside. Through her work on ethics and trust in policy, business and academia Hilary saw first hand the quite serious problems created by the jargon-filled language used by us all. Inspired by the C.R.A.P. framework devised by Canadian academic Professor Ian McCarthy she began to use this thinking in her work on building organisational and interpersonal trust. A natural Yorkshire tendency towards plain speaking, combined with decades of researching how to write more clearly for her own writing and presenting has given her insights and practical tips which she enjoys sharing to help individuals and organisations be better understood.
