Small Business 365 (Big Data Platform)' integrates and analyzes small business and commercial district data held by public and private entities to provide customized services for individual small business owners and support data-driven administrative operations.
Small business owners often attempt startups without accurate prior information or market analysis, perpetuating a 'high birth, high death' cycle of repeated startups and closures. While digital transformation accelerated post-COVID-19, existing systems faced limitations in meeting evolving demands.
Based on the existing commercial district information system, this project aims to build a platform that collects and processes dispersed commercial district data to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners with the information necessary for starting and managing their businesses.
'Small Business 365 (Big Data Platform)' integrates and analyzes small business and commercial district data* held by public and private entities to provide customized services for individual small business owners and support data-driven administrative operations.
*Provides information services by linking and integrating 64 types of data through collaboration with 21 institutions
After the platform launch, service usage reached a total of 1.464 million instances, a 238% increase compared to the previous two-year average (same period comparison with the Commercial District Information System). Users reached 15,000 (as of February 2025), a 462% increase compared to the previous period (December 2024).
Services that comprehensively guide small business owners through big data-driven commercial district analysis, individual store management diagnostics, latest market trend analysis, and government support policy information can be expected to enhance management efficiency and build digital competitiveness. This lays the foundation for stable business operations and innovative growth.
Launch year: 2022
