Boosting Exports for Provincial SMEs Using AI Chatbots

Overview

Aiming to provide step-by-step customized information for companies through generative AI chatbot services, this initiative offers AI-powered one-stop, full-cycle support to encourage domestic companies to transition into exporters. By integrating AI into the GBC export support platform 'gbcprime', it presents optimal solutions enabling novice exporters to enter overseas markets stably.

Project description

The GBC export support platform 'gbcprime' was implemented to provide export consultation chatbots, overseas market information, customized buyer recommendations, best practice guidance, and information on related GBC programs and support initiatives. Considering its Proof of Concept (PoC) status, a representative test utilizing the GBC Prime LA Office database (2022–2024) demonstrated suitability with a 0% error rate across 183 cases involving 50 concurrent users.

Furthermore, to enhance the performance of the GBC LA database, data cleansing (format standardization, duplicate removal, OCR application) and data indexing and structuring were performed.

Key technological features

• Introduction of AI Chatbot Technology for Export Consultation Automation
• Configuring CLARIO, a RAG solution based on the HyperCLOVA X (LLM) model, and applying GBC data to provide customized information

Expected outcomes

This project plans to expand information acquisition and corporate support through the automation of tasks on the GBC export support platform 'gbcprime'. By collecting all data from Gyeonggi Province's export support projects, this project will leap forward as the province's representative export support platform.
