Speakers
Many public servants want to use AI to move faster and improve the quality of their work. But when your work includes sensitive information or data, it can be hard to know what is safe to share and what cannot be inputted into an AI tool.
The risk is not always obvious. Seemingly harmless details can become sensitive once combined with other information, especially in small teams or niche policy areas.
In this session, we’ll help you assess what kinds of information could be considered sensitive, based on who it relates to, how it could be used and your organisation’s rules. You’ll learn methods for cleaning and preparing datasets, including redaction, de-identification and minimisation, so you can use AI safely. The event will leave you with a repeatable framework to decide what to share, how to prepare it and when to stop.
Who should join:
Public servants who want to use AI more in their work while staying compliant.
