The AI in Government Community is a collaborative space designed for conversations, insights, ideas and resources on the use of AI in government from your peers across the global public service. This community is open to all Apolitical members.
Event Description
You may have been using ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini at work, and now Claude keeps being mentioned. But what does it actually do differently, and is it worth adding to your toolkit?
Built by Anthropic, Claude has strengths that can support the high-precision work many public servants spend their days on, from handling long documents to supporting careful, precise drafting.
This session will show Claude in action, covering where it stands out, including summarising documents, producing outputs like formatted reports and making sense of large datasets. You'll also learn how to set up reusable workflows so Claude works the way you do, not the other way around.

She has worked in a full spectrum of design contexts, from creative agencies to in-house teams to independent contracts. Beyond creative execution, her role deeply involves strategy, systems thinking, cross-functional collaboration and communicating ideas with impact. Before Apolitical, she’s designed for companies such as Twitter, Venmo, Apple and SmartNews.
