The New Public Servants Community is a collaborative space for public servants to engage in meaningful conversations, share best practices, spark innovation, and exchange ideas across all levels of government worldwide.
Event Description:
Achieving your goals in government can feel like an uphill battle. It’s hard to strike a balance between ambition and reality when setting targets, and it's even harder to keep track of your development amongst tight deadlines and competing demands.
At this masterclass, we discussed methods tailored for public servants to help you set impactful goals and create pathways to reach them.
Our expert speakers shared actionable techniques for identifying and achieving your aspirations, and discussed how to overcome growth-blocking obstacles.

Scott McNaughton, Scott started his public service journey in Canada’s federal public service in 2009. In 2021, Scott transitioned to the provincial government, to take on the role of Director of Digital Investment. In his limited free time, Scott enjoys exploring the great outdoors on hiking trails, participating in ball hockey as part of the "Pandas" team, and catching up on his backlog of video games or books.
