Collective action for gender equality: a networking event for Apolitical’s Gender Equality Collective

UN Women’s Generation Equality campaign brings together gender equality advocates and activists of all ages and genders, and across sectors, to push for transformative change for gender equality. 

In the spirit of collective action, this online event is a chance for you to build relationships with other gender equality advocates from around the world. With Gender Equality Collective members coming from over 40 countries, this is an opportunity for you to share experiences, challenges and solutions with public servants like yourself.  At this online event, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your work on gender equality and meet with public servants like yourself. 

You’ll: 

• Connect and network with members of the Gender Equality Collective  from around the world
• Learn what members are working on - from violence prevention, to digital exclusion, to race and gender analyses in the justice sector
• Share experiences of working on gender policy and understand what areas other members are working on
• Discover what features are available to you on Apolitical Plus+ 

How the event will work 

The session will start with introductions and we will give you the opportunity to tell us about your work on gender policy. Then get ready to meet your peers! We will give you the opportunity to join a group of like-minded individuals in conversation and discuss your work on gender equality policy. 

We will conclude the event by letting you know how you can make the most of your Apolitical Plus+ membership and give you more information on more exciting events coming soon.
