Vancouver has launched a collaborative classroom project inside City Hall, where university students work with public servants to build initiatives aimed at making the city smarter and more sustainable. CityStudio has worked with 3,500 students and 75 city officials on projects like neighbourhood skill sharing and bike repair stations. The project’s success has inspired five CityStudio iterations across North America.
