Sweden is working with six Asia-Pacific countries that are disproportionately affected by global warming, to integrate climate finance into their national budgets. The UNDP-led partnership is focused on protecting women and low-income people from displacement, the spread of disease, rising food costs and other debilitating effects. By allocating budgets to the right areas, the partners aim to address inequalities exacerbated by climate change.
