FoodMaestro, developed with the UK National Health Service, can be used as an app by consumers to check allergy-free ingredients in shops and on a platform by doctors to design specialised meal plans. Available free to consumers and NHS professionals, an advanced version for sufferers of irritable bowel syndrome is priced at £3.99 ($5) per year.
