Matthew Pelletier

COVID-19 Policy Fellow - Canada

Matthew is a Data and Research Officer with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), the national voice of municipal governments in Canada. Prior to working with FCM, Matthew worked with the Government of Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine procurement unit and the Centre for Greening Government’s green procurement team. He holds a master’s degree in public policy and administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a bachelor’s degree in public affairs and policy management (B.PAPM) from Carleton University. He is interested in tackling issues relating to climate change, affordable housing, healthcare accessibility, green procurement team. He holds a master’s degree in public policy and administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science and public transit.

Natalia Herbst

Social & Climate Policy Fellow - Argentina

Natalia Herbst serves as a Senior Advisor on youth engagement to the Minister of Public Space and Urban Hygiene of the City of Buenos Aires, who leads the city's sustainability and environmental agenda. She has over 10 years of experience in government and academia. Her work has focused on shifting paradigms around government engagement with youth through innovations in language, topics, and perspectives, reaching over +1.5 million youth nationally working on social inclusion, health, culture and employability. Natalia holds a BA in International Studies (UTDT), an MA in Development Studies (IDS-University of Sussex), and is a 2019-2020 Obama Foundation Scholar-Columbia University.

Kruti Walsh

__Diversity & Inclusion Policy Fellow - United Kingdom __

Kruti has worked as a policy professional in the UK Civil Service for 10 years, mostly in HM Treasury where she developed the UK’s asset management strategy; reformed the inefficient and unfair Stamp Duty Land Tax; worked on a spending settlement for HMRC; and led on property, trading and employment income tax policy. She has also worked on childcare policy and strategy (Department for Education), including an internal government review (Cabinet Office). With a significant interest in inclusive policy making and the diversity of the civil service, she now leads on equality, diversity and inclusion for the Policy Profession.
