Apolitical is offering places on the course at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis for public service leaders preparing for the age of AI. The course is designed for public servants at all levels, covering how AI technology works, its capabilities, limitations and risks, and how governments and societies can leverage human-centered AI as a framework for more ethical outcomes.
Governments everywhere are navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of AI. For public servants, understanding the societal and economic implications of this technology — and adapting to them — has never been more important.
With the age of AI promising transformative impacts across society and the economy, governments must become AI-capable to keep pace with the opportunities and threats posed by the technology and its application. The course is available on Government AI Campus, a trusted knowledge and learning hub for governments – and the world’s 200 million civil servants – on governing and applying the technology. Through the AI Campus, public servants can access peer-to-peer communities, free online courses, and masterclasses with global experts.
Robyn Scott, CEO and co-founder of Apolitical said: “Combining Stanford Online's academic rigor with Apolitical’s innovative approach to online learning for government has resulted in a course that sets the standard for AI training globally, empowering public servants with the skills to shape the future of technology."
