Edmonton rallies community to end poverty within a generation

The city of Edmonton has convened a task force of business leaders, academics, charities and religious organisations to end poverty within a generation. The partnership, which the city awarded $1.86 million over two years, brought in businesses by demonstrating that economic development was in their interest.
