Lessons from the Field: Delivering Digital Transformation in Ukraine is an online module offering practical tools, templates, case studies and insights from the Ukraine experience on data, digital and AI in a 21st century government, available to who, when and how do they participate?
Ukraine has rapidly become a world leader in digital government. It runs numerous government services through citizen-centric and seamless digital experiences. Outcomes range from having the world’s first digital passport to more than 90% of babies today being registered via an app to accessible provision of social and financial assistance to internally displaced persons.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation is the newest Ukrainian Ministry, founded in 2019 to move 100% of government services online, to deliver high-speed internet coverage for 95% of the country, to have six million Ukrainians participate in its digital skills development programme, and to grow the IT sector to reach a 10% share of GDP.
