There has been a growing demand from the medical field to establish an efficient system for sharing personal medical information so that medical staff can verify a patient's medical history and provide prompt diagnosis and treatment during emergencies.
To establish a scientific emergency medical system capable of providing optimal, personalized treatment for citizens in the future, the need for data linkage—including personal medical information and real-time medical resource information—and AI analysis has been raised.
A system for sharing personal medical information will be established to link patients' core medical data with healthcare institutions' EMRs (Electronic Medical Records), enabling medical staff to access patient history during treatment decisions. This system will be piloted at healthcare institutions.
In emergency situations, medical staff can reference patient information such as underlying conditions, medication history, and allergies. This enables faster triage and appropriate emergency treatment, reducing response times. Consequently, patient safety is enhanced and healthcare quality is expected to improve.
It can contribute to enhancing user-centric data accessibility by enabling individuals to easily and securely manage their own sensitive medical data.
