The Problem

Corporate Security needed to prioritize contract security deployments and improve response times to security alarms across the City.

The Solution

An alarms dashboard using predictive analytics, based on historic corporate alarm incidences, to predict where and when future alarms are likely to occur, allowing strategic deployment of security guards. It was built using open source tools within existing budget.

The Impact

Reduced average response times for Corporate Security by nearly 50% (from 21 minutes to 12 minutes).

Lessons Learned

Solutions don't have to be complex to be effective. In this case, simply presenting the information in a form that was usable for the client business area had an outsized impact on their operations.
