Works with CarPlay and Android Auto so drivers can report by voice.
Current reporting processes for road conditions are inefficient and reactive. Lack of real-time visibility leads to duplicate reporting across the system, increasing administrative burden and reducing the accuracy of infrastructure health data.
Community Driven is a mobile application integrated with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The solution allows users to securely submit GPS-tagged reports of potholes and other hazards using simple commands. These real-time reports feed into the "Repair" project, which uses spatial clustering models to detect duplicates and prioritize maintenance for City crews. Constructed using open-source tools within existing resources.
Reduces duplicate reports, provides precise location data, enables predictive maintenance and reduces the burden on the 311 system.
