Join the Data Skills Network
The Data Skills Network is an online community to build your data skills through connection and conversation with peers across government. This space is open to all, whether you consider yourself a data novice or a data expert.
Event Description
Power BI is probably already in your Microsoft licence. Whether you've built dashboards in it or never opened the app, most people are using a fraction of what it can do.
Power BI turns spreadsheets and raw data into dashboards and reports you can read at a glance, no design skills or coding required. At this event, you’ll learn how to build your first dashboard from messy data, clean and reformat information automatically and create visuals directly from spreadsheets or Sharepoint lists. You'll leave knowing exactly how to start using Power BI in your own work.
Hear from a public servant Power BI user who will demonstrate these tools live, working through real government data scenarios and sharing shortcuts that save the most time.
