Join our first-ever full day virtual conference, and develop the skills you need to become a better communicator in government.
You’ll learn about the full spectrum of essential communications skills in government, from experienced public servants and practitioners, and have the chance to connect with other public servants across the globe.
What you’ll get:
Each session will include speaker presentations and an open Q&A section. You’ll also be invited to an optional networking session at the end of the day, to meet and mingle with other public servants. Once you register for the conference, you'll receive confirmation of your registration, and we’ll be in touch closer to the event with a full programme of events and dial-in links to each session.
You’ll receive recordings of all sessions as well as a resources pack the following day with lots of courses and content.
The sessions will cover:
- Public speaking: Discover how to prepare for speaking in public and how to convey confidence through body language (whether you’re speaking virtually or in person).
- Inclusive meetings: Learn how to run different types of sessions, both virtual and in-person, and increase participation at all levels.
- Having difficult conversations: Equip yourself with the skills and tactics you need to resolve conflict, give and receive meaningful feedback and negotiate successfully.
- Presentations: Find out how to discover how to deliver a compelling presentation and use storytelling and data to drive home your message.
- Written communication: Learn how to write clearly and persuasively, whether it’s via email, in a briefing note or on a blog post.
Who you’ll hear from:
We’ve brought together public servants and communication practitioners from around the world to share with you their top tips and insights. You’ll receive a full list of speakers before the conference.
Who should watch:
This conference is for any public servant looking to hone their communication skills, whether you're new to the public service or a seasoned professional.
