The Career Development Community is A space to explore how to navigate, grow, and thrive in your public service career.
Event Description
Do you have a plan for your career path in government — one that helps you make intentional, informed decisions to ensure you reach your goals?
Civil service careers are often shaped by informal networks, unexpected opportunities or organisational needs — rather than deliberate planning. Career mapping provides structure and builds motivation, allowing you to navigate the complex pathways of government while working towards long-term objectives.
In this session, civil servants will share tools to help you reflect on your values, recognise your strengths, and set a clear direction for what comes next. You’ll learn to build a career mapping toolkit tailored to your goals, gaining the skills to make intentional choices and adapt with confidence in government.
