Growing up in the church was quite an experience , My first volunteer service was in church as a member of the choir , I was 10 years old, and the youngest, my older brother Aggrey and our first born sister Felestus ( deceased ) were in the choir with me and attending church is how I came to learn about Jesus and his Disciples .
Growing up I always wondered what were his leadership principles , how did they impact his disciples and how are they relevant in leadership today .
Choosing Purpose Over Popularity
Jesus often chose right standing over acceptance, challenging corrupt systems and speaking truth even when it led to His crucifixion. Leaders with conviction are essential in today's world. Standing firm on ethical principles, even when unpopular, builds integrity and inspires others to uphold justice.
Leading with Courage
Jesus exemplified courage, pursuing His mission despite uncertainty and adversity as the church leaders were opposed to his teachings. In this times of crisis, courageous leadership is vital. We require Leaders who act with conviction and hope can inspire others to overcome challenges and drive meaningful change.
The world is in Crisis , and has become Uncertain, In an uncertain world, courageous leadership matters more than ever. It's in speaking up when it's risky, building something new when it hasn't been done before, or showing up authentically when others conform. Courage is contagious—and it begins with belief in something bigger than comfort, something bigger than ourselves by becoming agents of hope bringing change .
