Drink water. The average human should drink about 15 cups of water a day, however the majority of us rarely ever drink 5.

Sleep, and unfortunately for many of us, early. Sadly, sleeping early improves the quality of your sleep, boosts your immune system, while also decreasing anxiety and depression. The human body is naturally supposed to be asleep during the night, and awake during the day. This allows the body to function in ways that it can't while you are awake, and sleeping late often disrupts bodily functions.

Exercise. Exercise boosts your physical heath, your mental health, enhances brain power, enhances sleep quality, and even improves mental health.

Eat balanced meals. Ensure that your body is getting enough protein, whole grains, healthy fats, and vitamins.

Slow down. Give your body time to relax, give yourself time to sleep and get the rest that you need to continue to properly function. Take healthy breaks.

Participate in activities that benefit your body. Such activities can be anything you desire such as yoga, meditation, sewing, playing an instrument, journaling, pilates, fitness, etc.

Understand that your health matters. In order to stress, in order to upset oneself, in order to blame oneself, and even in order to be angry, your body needs to function. If your body functions, you must take care of it.

Thank your body for every second that it keeps you alive and breathing.
