Do you work in a policy-focused role or a delivery-focused role?
Only thirty per cent of public servants in the workshop cover both policy and delivery in their role. Yet combining the two can result in a clearer vision, stronger strategic alignment, and a better user experience.
What do you think is the biggest barrier to integrating policy and delivery?
Few public servants felt that a lack of time was to blame for the separation of delivery from policy.
Instead, the issue is structural: organisational silos, a lack of ownership over outcomes, and a deficit in skills are all creating roadblocks.
