Apolitical has put together a playlist to help kickstart your 2026.
Inspired by the work you do in government and the impact you make for the people you serve, this public service playlist was lovingly curated by the Apolitical team and contributed to by members like you.
Throughout the past year, we asked what public servants were thinking about. You told us about changing times, hopes for the future, and the desire for personal development during adversity.
So, inspired by those themes, we've lovingly curated 15 songs for public servants to start 2026, including:
Songs for times of change: The Times They Are A-Changin’ by Bob Dylan. This 1964 classic from Bob Dylan is just as relevant today. As you ready yourself for what's ahead in 2026, it’s important to reflect on how far things have come.
Songs for inspiration: Golden by HUNTR/X (from KPop Demon Hunters). From the biggest film of 2025, this upbeat track is sure to make you feel unstoppable in the new year.
Songs for perseverance: Shake it Out by Florence & The Machine. Florence Welch’s powerful vocals will help you shed past worries and come into 2026 feeling ready for new challenges.
