Vancouver is using students from a local university to help low-income residents of the Downtown Eastside area. In one project among many, the students help the long term unemployed improve their CVs and earn "micro-credentials" with which they can approach employers. One of the aims of the project is to help nurture a new generation of leaders trained in social innovation and entrepreneurship.
