The United Nations Development Programme has partnered with the Government of Myanmar to build an app that will strengthen women's governance in rural communities. The app connects some 8,500 women across the country, and teaches them about their legal rights related to gender-based violence, land, health and migration. The government will use data and discussion collected from the app to inform policymaking related to women's rights.
