El Salvador has increased women’s access to and use of state resources by integrating women-focused services in free centres called Ciudad Mujer. The aim is to tackle gender-based violence and other inequalities by making all useful public services available simultaneously in one central location. Women can now access sexual health clinics, lawyers, violence counselling, entrepreneur training, and childcare provision under the same roof.
