Conservationists and ranchers protect 200 species in Colorado

Colorado has protected around 200 species of plant and animal life from decline by having landowners and government agencies adopt wildlife-friendly techniques. Conservationists worked with them to find economically viable ways of protecting the land. The award winning effort, which covers some 70,000 acres, has been so successful, it has been adopted by Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico
