Watch this short video and hear from Carol Kinsey Goman, an international keynote speaker who helps people improve their leadership presence and body language skills, as she discusses non-verbal communication in a virtual setting.
Activity [10 minute]
Using whatever kind of recording software is available to you, record yourself speaking (with video!) for one minute about a topic of your choice. Watch the video back and observe your body language. If you need to, try adjusting your camera to change the frame, and experiment with more or less expressive body language. For an extra challenge, send the video to a colleague and get their thoughts.
