1. Transforming Public Procurement (Green Paper) — Cabinet Office, UK
It’s a chance to learn hard lessons from Covid procurement challenges and also to transform an antiquated paper-based and incredibly fragmented approach in a set of holistic reforms including end-to-end digital transparency for contracts.

2. Reducing the number of school districts — State of Illinois, USA
School districts are the single largest portion of a property tax levy. Property taxes are really hurting local businesses. Hopefully, this effort will help reduce property tax burdens.

3. Using “Rules as Code” in policy development — Canada
“Rules as code” attempts to bring law and policymaking into the digital world. It involves writing legislation as code so it can be “read by computers”.
It's a completely new way to think about policy implementation that could ensure better governance and more consistent policy application across government. With a touch of (responsible) AI thrown in.
