A personal reflection...


Three years ago, I joined the Ministry of Defence Guard Service determined to learn, grow and make a meaningful contribution.
Since then, every training opportunity, apprenticeship, mentoring experience and conversation has reinforced one simple truth:
Opportunity changes lives.


That reflection inspired me to write my latest article:
"Equality Begins with Opportunity."
It isn't simply about diversity.


It's about creating workplaces where people are encouraged to learn, trusted to contribute and supported to become the very best version of themselves.


I hope it encourages meaningful conversations about leadership, inclusion and the future of public service.
