GovTech and Digital Skills Field Guide
Free Online Micro-Course | Registration closes November 15 | Exclusive for World Bank Staff & Client Countries
Public servants no longer have the luxury of being analogue. Whether you’re a digital native or novice, you need to think digital first. But you can’t do it alone.
That’s why we’ve created this GovTech and Digital Skills Field Guide: a hands-on introduction for policymakers of all backgrounds to develop a basic understanding of essential digital skills and trends. Topics range from artificial intelligence to change management, with case studies from Brazil to Ghana. You will:
- Gain an understanding of what governments consider to be essential GovTech and digital government skills
- Through case study examples, examine different approaches to upskilling government transformation
- Identify some key future challenges to inform ongoing digital government skills and needs
You’ll get an optional bite-sized activity or article, each taking 10 minutes or less, for 8 weeks. Registration closes on November 15.
Open to all participants from the public service, civil society, and academia. If you are not yet a member of Apolitical, you will be taken to a signup page that will automatically register you for the field guide.
