Join the AI in Government Community
The AI in Government Community is a space for conversations, insights, ideas and resources on the use of AI in government from your peers across the global public service. This community is open to all Apolitical members.
Event Description
What’s stopping you from using AI more widely in your role? For most public servants, it isn’t a lack of curiosity — it’s a lack of clarity. What’s allowed? What’s safe? And how do you even get started?
This event focuses on safe, low-risk ways to experiment with AI tools in your own work — without breaking policy, losing control of data or crossing an invisible line. You don’t need to be experimenting already — just open to exploring.
Our speakers will share how they began experimenting, what tools they used and how they kept it safe. We’ll explore practical techniques for testing AI in real work settings — from writing prompts to checking outputs — alongside frameworks for ethical use, approval boundaries and peer-led learning. You’ll leave with new ideas, new confidence and a starter plan to explore AI with your team.
