Digital 101 for Teams
Free Online Micro-Course | Registration closes October 31 | Exclusive for Public Servants & Policymakers
Public servants no longer have the luxury of being analogue. Whether you’re a digital native or novice, you need to think digital first. But you can’t do it alone.
That’s why we’ve created this Digital 101 for Teams: a hands-on introduction for teams in the public service of all backgrounds to develop a basic understanding of digital skills and trends. Topics range from GovTech and artificial intelligence through to change management and overcoming failure. You’ll learn:
- How to embed digital thinking into your day to day job
- What you and your team should do to develop your digital literacy
- How to prepare for the challenges you’ll face in an ever-digitising world
- Why people, not processes or technology, are key to hacking digital skills
This is a team-based course where you’ll be sent a short optional activity every week for 8 weeks — straight to your inbox. Teams can go at their own pace and the activities will usually take between 15 and 30 minutes.
You can either do the tasks remotely or you can meet up to do them together. We recommend that you take the micro-course with four or more people but of course you can do it on your own.
Registration closes on October 31.
Open to all participants from the public service, civil society, and academia. If you are not yet a member of Apolitical, you will be taken to a signup page that will automatically register you for the summer camp.
