Terms of Use for the AI tools on Apolitical

Your use of this Service is subject to Apolitical’s Terms and Conditions and OpenAI’s Usage Policies. By engaging with AI tools, you acknowledge that you have read and accept these terms.

Please refrain from including any personal, sensitive, or classified information in your inputs to AI features on the Apolitical Platform. Please also do not use the AI features to conduct any of the following activities:

• Political campaigning or lobbying

• Activity that violates people’s privacy, including personal information about other people

• High risk government decision-making

• Financial, legal or health advice without a qualified person reviewing the information

• Illegal activity

By using this service, you acknowledge and understand that any output generated by this service is dependent on:

1. the quality and availability of information contained on our site which has been composed by independent third party public servants and/or generated via a third party Artificial Intelligence provider; and

2. the quality and accuracy of the information entered by you into the service, for which you are solely responsible and liable.

You acknowledge that the output generated by your use of the Services is provided for general information purposes only and has not been independently verified by a human source prior to it being made available to you. Any information provided to you as a result of your use of the Service does not constitute legal or any other form of advice or guidance. It is your responsibility to confirm that the output generated by the Services is correct and suitable for your intended purpose.

Apolitical provides no warranty, representation or guarantee as to the content of the output of the Services or the accuracy of the information contained therein, or that the Service will be error free and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and regulation disclaims any and all liability in relation to the same. By using the Service, you acknowledge and confirm that you have understood and agreed to the foregoing.

AI and your data

For detailed information about how your data is processed when using this feature, please refer to Apolitical's Privacy Policy, OpenAI’s Privacy Policy, LangChain's Privacy Policy and Pinecone's Privacy Policy.

Please note that we do not share your personal data with OpenAI, Pinecone or LangChain. We may associate your input with a pseudonymised user ID, which is shared with LangChain for evaluation purposes. The sub-processors will also process information you input in your question, and the answer it creates. We, nor our third party processors, do not use data you submit via this feature to be used to train future models. OpenAI deletes your data after 30 days. We retain the inputs and outputs from the AI Course Assistant on LangChain for 400 days.
